DOUBLE GOLD WINNERS AT THE INAUGURAL GREEN BAMBINI AWARDS
Our unique eco-friendly Splashy™ swimwear range, which is made from our own e-Flex™ material, has triumphed again by winning two Golds at the inaugural 2023 Green Bambini Awards, including Best Overall Swimming Product.
The Green Bambini Awards have been created to recognise and showcase ‘the greatest in organic, sustainable, natural and innovative green services’ and the Konfidence team is delighted that its Splashy™ swimwear range scooped Gold for Best Reusable Baby / Toddler Product and Gold for Best Swimming Product.
The Splashy™ swimwear range, which is uniquely constructed using Konfidence’s own innovative e-Flex™ material, was developed by the company’s in-house design team in 2009 to be an eco-friendly and innovative alternative to traditional neoprene, which is unrecyclable – and all the products made from e-Flex™, including the Splashy™ Swim Nappy, Splashy™ Swimsuit and Warma™ Swimsuit represent a world-first in baby and children’s swimwear designs.
Andrew Regan, who founded Konfidence 25 years ago, said: “We are delighted that the eco-properties of our Splashy™ range made from e-Flex™ continue to be recognised as innovative in the world of baby and children’s swimwear. With consumers now being even more eco-conscious, it is important to recognise that the traditional way of thinking about eco-products has moved on a pace.”
