Product Description
Details
For use in the pool, the sea, on the beach or in the garden, our rash vests and shorts are designed for function and comfort. They're already a firm favourite with swim teachers and adults wanting to cover up a little in the water, as they are made from PBT.
Mechanically strong, PBT is perfect for body-huggable clothing. When compared to Lycra, it is proven to retain its shape for longer, is less prone to snagging, is far more chlorine-resistant, and is able to maintain a greater consistency in its UV protection rating over the life of the garment. This great combination of form and function ensures that you are getting the best value product available.

Care InstructionsKonfidence Adult PBT Rash Vests should be washed in cold clean water and hung to dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry and do not iron. If the vest is used in the swimming pool or sea, chlorine and seawater can have a bleaching effect on the colours and damage threads, so to avoid degradation please rinse out in clean water as soon as possible. Please don't leave in a warm or hot car without rinsing first, as this can increase the chance of chlorine damage. MaterialsThe major component we use is PBT material, which has similar stretch and feel properties to Lycra but is better able to retain shape and colour fastness, especially in chlorinated water. ConstructionWe use flatlock seams (the same as those used on good quality wetsuits) on the major parts of the shell to eliminate uncomfortable and unsightly ridged seams. TestingKonfidence Adult PBT Rash Vests have been independently tested to ensure that the materials are free of toxins and any banned substances. In addition, we have tested the material for its UV protection qualities. Compliance
