About Konfidence

We are a family business who started trading in the UK in 1998 with the plan to design, manufacture and distribute the Konfidence Jacket buoyant swimming aid for children.

We saw the need for a good alternative to arm bands/water wings and hand held swimming devices whilst shopping for our own children.

Since then, The Original Konfidence Jackets have now become available on the UK high street and are standard equipment for many overseas package holiday operators.

The simple, innovative concept was to marry floatation with the comfort and good looks of a wetsuit. The peace of mind the Original Konfidence Jacket gives to parents as well as children has been key to its success. It has now become an essential piece of kids holiday kit!.

Since 1998, we have been continually looking for great new and exciting products to complement the Original Konfidence Jackets. Whilst maintaining our focus on providing high quality neoprene products, we have kept our eye on our goal of being able to offer a full range of swimming aids, beach and pool wear.

We have followed a successful policy of growing our range organically through working with our customers and developing new products in response to their requirements. This initially resulted in the addition of our full range of UV Sun Protection Swimwear.

Over the last 3 years we have been working closely with local and national swim schools in developing our range of Baby Swimming products. Part of this association has included Konfidence sponsoring the Swimming Teachers Association (STA) national baby swimming program; Starfish.

Working in this manner has allowed us to design, prototype, and trial new baby swimming products, whilst benefitting at each stage from the feedback of experts with a wealth of experience.Working in this manner continues to present new opportunities, and we look forward to the new, innovative products currently being prototyped being as successful in 2008 as our new additions have been in 2007.

Of course, whilst continuing to develop our range and identify new and exciting opportunities, we remain focussed on our commitment to customer service; that of treating our customers as we would expect to be treated ourselves.
